PMI® Registered Education Provider Program Overview
The PMI® Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) Program is designed to enhance the ongoing professional development of PMI® Members, Project Management Professionals (PMPs®), and other project management stakeholders through the offering of various learning experiences and activities related to the field of project management.
Examples of Registered Education Providers may include PMI® Components, consultants, schools, corporate training centers, government agencies, professional associations, and any other providers of education related to project management.
We are also officially recognized to allocate Professional Development Unit (P.D.U.) to organization to student following our training programs.
What is a PDU?
The PDU is the measuring unit used to quantify approved learning and professional service activities. These activities must be related to Project Management topics that are substantially consistent with the knowledge areas and processes as outlined by the Guide to the PMBOK® and involve appropriate expert resources. Typically, one PDU is earned for every one hour spent in a planned, structured learning experience or activity.
Each PMP® must satisfy the PMI® Continuing Certification Requirements Program in order to maintain the PMP® Certification. PMPs® are required to obtain no less than 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) within a three years cycle and agree to continue to adhere to PMI's® Project Management Professional Code of professional conduct. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways including completing project management related training. Successful completion of each PTC's training session contributes to achievement of seven PDUs units a day.
Objectives of the PMI® Registered Education Provider Program:
The overall goals of the PMI® Registered Education Provider Program may be summarized as follows:
